Food for the Poor and Widows Initiative

The Food for the Poor and Widows Initiative is one of the Ezedike Foundation’s most impactful programs, launched in 2024 to address hunger, hardship, and homelessness among vulnerable populations. Through this initiative, our organization continues to provide essential food packages and support to the less privileged across multiple communities. In our inaugural year, we delivered food assistance to more than 800 individuals across Lagos, Aba, and Port Harcourt, Nigeria. We also extended direct financial support and food items to widows and economically disadvantaged families in the Isu Ancient Kingdom, ensuring that no one in our community is left behind.

This activity directly advances the goals of our Food for the Poor and Widows Initiative. By providing food packages, financial support, and essential resources to vulnerable households, the program reinforces our broader poverty‑alleviation mission and strengthens our commitment to reducing hunger within the community. Each outreach effort, whether through large‑scale distributions or door‑to‑door holiday deliveries, ensures that families facing hardship receive the support they need with dignity and compassion.
